The Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced that security patrols in the Southern Governorate Command—Ma’an Police Directorate—have seized seven vehicles with obscured license plates.

In a statement released Tuesday, the PSD noted that some of these vehicles attempted to flee before being surrounded and apprehended by the security forces along with their drivers.

The Directorate emphasized its zero-tolerance policy towards any violations of the law and its commitment to arrest anyone who threatens public safety.

It also confirmed that it will continue deploying and strengthening its personnel with renewed security forces throughout all stages of the electoral process.
